pexels-photo-128299.jpegJeff Stelling has just wrapped and we have closed the transfer window (although we’re always on the lookout for the next big signing). We’ve had some movers and shakers of our very own here at TQUK HQ over the past few weeks. Here’s a rundown of recent upgrades in personnel around the office.

Kelle McQuade has been appointed as the new Lead Business Development Manager (As seen in FE Week’s Movers and Shakers).

Kelle has joined us after spending the previous 13 years working for Milton Keynes College where her last post was the Head of Curriculum Innovation.

At TQUK, she will be responsible for growing the company’s reputation and portfolio within the training sector. As well as looking to generate new business, she will be liaising with our existing network of training providers, ensuring they have all the necessary resources they need in order to be a successful TQUK approved centre.

On joining TQUK, Kelle said: “I’m thrilled to have joined such a fast growing and forward thinking organisation and look forward to using my previous experience within education to support centres and help expand the organisations' profile in the South of England.”

Kit Jenkin has been appointed as our new Website and Marketing Officer.fv.jpg

Kit joins TQUK with a wealth of writing and marketing experience in his back pocket, enabling him to elevate our game once more in terms of marketing materials and content that we produce across social media, our website and internal/external resources.

A previous role of Bids and Marketing Coordinator bodes well for the future as we look to expand our marketing horizons and increase our brand awareness and opportunities even further.

At TQUK, Kit will be responsible for the upkeep of our social media platforms, creating and writing engaging and exciting content for our site and external sources. He will also assist with tender documents, resource design, creative support and upkeep of the TQUK website.

On joining TQUK, Kit said: “It was great to a join a company with such an infectious energy. I love being around people who love doing what they do every day and this has made the opening chapter to my TQUK career highly enjoyable.”

fdwvf.jpgSam Nightingale has been appointed as our new External Quality Assurance Coordinator.

Integral to upholding our high-quality assurance standards, Sam's role within the team is to ensure that all EQA activities are carried out to a set standard, ensuring consistency and that all TQUK procedures are undertaken efficiently and effectively.

Prior to joining the company, Sam was a Sports Development Officer at The Manchester College. Why have we brought Sam in? With her experience working in a college environment for a number of years, we believe Sam will bring a fresh approach to our Quality processes. She will bring balance to the team knowing how a learning environment operates first hand.

Sam said: “I am so pleased to be given the opportunity to join TQUK, it is lovely to be part of this highly dedicated and motivated team.”

Alex Davies has been appointed as our new Quality Officer.

We’re upping our quality game with the acquisition of Alex Davies from a fellow Awarding Organisation. Previously employed as a Compliance Officer, Alex brings vast and expert knowledge to the business, in the areas of ‘quality’ in particular, which will increase our breadth of expertise within the team.

Ensuring consistency and upholding the TQUK values and procedures will be key to the day to day aspects of Alex’s role within the company and he will be sure to keep Paul on his toes.

Alex said: “I’m thrilled to be joining TQUK at such an exciting time and am delighted to be involved in the progressive and forward thinking Quality department. I hope I can provide a fresh perspective into the industry and look forward to working with the tight-knit family here in Manchester.”
