Customer Service Level 2

As one of the most popular apprenticeships in the UK, the customer service industry covers many sectors and job roles that are relevant to level 2 apprentices. There are a wide variety of other job roles that are complemented by customer service skills at this level and that could benefit those choosing to undertake the Customer Service Intermediate Apprenticeship.

Specification Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service (RQF)

Learners employed in a job role which includes customer service and who wish to develop skills such as: communicating with customers, building relationships with customers, resolving problems, promoting products and/or services, using communication channels, seeking customer feedback and team working. You will also have the opportunity to develop transferable skills such as communication, resolving problems, analysing feedback and using social media. This qualification forms part of the intermediate apprenticeship in customer service.

Customer Service Level 3

Advanced apprentices typically undertake a variety of complex tasks and will usually have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility and may provide some supervisory support. Potential job roles could include customer relationship manager, customer support officer, customer service team leader, customer service supervisory and customer service co-ordinator. 

Specification Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service (RQF)

Learners with some experience or a lower level qualification in the customer service sector who wish to progress their learning to the next level and gain skills in areas such as complaint resolution, interpretation of feedback and social media strategies. This qualification forms part of the higher level apprenticeship in customer service.

Designed for individuals working within a retail environment as a general sales assistant. At this level it might be advantageous to have experience in the retail sector or hold a level 1 qualification in the context of this area. Potential job roles can include stockroom assistant and sales assistant.

Learners working, or looking to work, in a retail environment as retail sales assistant or similar in a variety of retail outlets. It develops your competencies within the retail sector to support a variety of job roles and forms part of the popular retail apprenticeship.

Learners who are working, or looking to work, in a retail environment as retail sales assistant or similar in a variety of retail outlets. It develops your competencies within the retail sector to support a variety of job roles and forms part of the popular retail apprenticeship.

Specification Level 2 Diploma in Retail Knowledge (QCF)

Learners working, or looking to work, in a retail environment as retail sales assistant or similar in a variety of retail outlets. It develops your competencies within the retail sector to support a variety of job roles: the range of optional units in this larger version of the retail knowledge qualification allows you to customise your learning. This qualification is the knowledge component of the level 2 retail apprenticeship.

Potential job roles could include sales professional, senior sales assistant, team leader/supervisor, craft expert or style advisor.

Specification Level 3 Diploma in Retail Knowledge (QCF)

Learners who are seeking employment in the retail sector or are already in employment as a senior retail sales assistant/supervisor or similar in a variety of retail  outlets.  It will develop your knowledge and understanding of the retail sector to support a variety of job roles.

Specification Level 3 Diploma in Retail Skills (Sales Professional) (QCF)

Learners who wish to develop competence to carry out range of job roles in retail settings. Each consists of a mandatory unit which develops skills in working effectively and supporting others in a retail organisation and a range of optional units. In the TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Retail Skills (Sales Professional) optional units cover areas such as: specialist products and handling fish, meat and greengrocery, cashing up, customer service and stock control.

Specification Level 3 Certificate in Retail Knowledge (QCF)

Learners who are seeking employment in the retail sector or are already in employment as a senior retail sales assistant/supervisor or similar in a variety of retail outlets. It will develop your knowledge and understanding of the retail sector to support a variety of job roles.
