Training Qualifications UK and The Skills Network have ‘Collaboration of the Year’ FAB Award in their sights
We are delighted to announce that Training Qualifications UK and The Skills Network have been named as finalists for the ‘Collaboration of the Year’ award at this year’s FAB Awards.
The TQUK and TSN relationship has blossomed over the past 12 months with over 25,000 learners certificated and it’s fantastic to see our revolutionary partnership being recognised by the Federation of Awarding Bodies as a finalist.
James Earl, Executive Director at The Skills Network, said: “Partnership is often a word that can be banded around far too often across many industries and it is actually a case of customer and supplier.
“Our relationship with TQUK is a truly two-way, collaborative partnership. We have worked as one team, bringing expertise together to push the boundaries in innovation, creating efficiencies in the way we work and more importantly to give learners a fantastic user experience – giving them the best chance to change their life by taking a qualification.
“I’m very proud of the work we’ve done to aid our 25,000+ learners in the last academic year. However, the greatest achievement by far is the industry influence we’ve had – enabling our 100 FE customers to experience the same innovations we’ve put in place, giving learners the opportunity to experience true online learning.
“We’re excited to continue our journey with TQUK and continue to make a difference to the industry.”
The seamless ‘end to end’ solution that TQUK and TSN have in place is a game-changer. We’ve designed an API integration from TQUK’s Verve learner management software to The Skills Network’s EQUAL system which automatically processes registration and certification requests without the need for training providers to log into both systems.
The Skills Network matches TQUK for depth and breadth of provision. They deliver regulated qualifications, apprenticeships, CPD certified short courses and sector-specific vocational programmes across a multitude of qualification sectors. This has opened up so many avenues for both parties to work together with qualifications ranging from Mental Health Awareness to Equality and Diversity.
Training Qualifications UK Managing Director Andrew Walker said: ‘We’re incredibly grateful to FAB and the judges for recognising the great work that we have been doing over the past 12 months.’
‘Our partnership with The Skills Network exemplifies what you can do when two like-minded organisations put the learning and training provider experience at the front of our thinking. We’re proud of what we have achieved together so far and long may it continue.’
Now in its fifth year, the annual celebration of the awarding and assessment sector is held by the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester.
